"SV Sea Wings" is hull #43, of the ever-popular Shannon 28 and has had only three owners since she was built in 1982. Designed as the ideal two person cruising boat, the Shannon 28 was built to sail offshore anywhere, and was constructed using the finest quality materials.

COMMENTS: The Shannon 28 is one of the only boats under 30 feet that was built in America for serious offshore sailing as well as coastal cruising in all wind and sea conditions. Seating comfort, steering ability, winch and electronic equipment locations, locker storage, space and safe footing on decks were all considered during the initial design stages of the Shannon 28.
The design was recognised in the book "The World's Best Sailboats" and also featured in the Guiness Book of World Records after it was twice single-handed across the Atlantic by sailing writer Monk Farnham, at the age of 72 and again at the age of 78.
Only 60 Shannon 28's were built. 'Sea Wings' - hull number 43 - has only had three owners and is awaiting her next owner to fulfill another long-held dream.
