1979 Shannon 38

Charleston, South Carolina, United States

$85,000

Designed with offshore passage-making in mind, the Shannon 38 is a classic cruiser with a wonderful reputation for quality.

Interior refits make this boat unique with the elimination of a navigation station in favor of additional storage, counter-top work space, and upgraded drawer refrigeration.

NELLE is a blue water boat with a great pedigree, and she is ready for a new owner to take her cruising.

Entering "NELLE"'s companionway, the L-shaped galley is to starboard, with additional workspace and the refrigerator to port. The Shannon 38 was built with a navigation station to the port side at the companionway, but this boat has been reconfigured to convert the navigation station space to additional counter space, new refrigeration, and storage.

Forward of the galley, settees sit to port and starboard with a custom dining table mounted to the galley bulkhead. This allows for an open feel in the salon, with more space to move about when the table is stowed away.

Plentiful storage is found in cabinetry and bookshelves above both settees, with additional storage underneath the seating.

Moving forward of the salon, the large wet head is to starboard prior to reaching the v-berth.

The v-berth is spacious, with storage cabinetry, drawers, and a hanging locker.
